This photo was taken on the same day as my horizon photo with the same point and shoot camera. I always wanted to take a railroad track photo. I learned that to take one, you should bring a friend to watch your back. I have to admit that I was a little scared taking this photo because I didn’t know if a train was coming from behind me. The original photo was taken straight on (from bottom to top) because I was in a hurry to get the shot. I altered the image so as to make the middle of the tracks lead the viewers eyes from the bottom left hand corner to the top right hand corner. In order to do that, I had to crop it. Once again, I think the point and shoot did OK.
One other thing, I’m starting to play around with B & W.
I love the angle and the black and white. Great shot! 🙂
Thank you. I appreciate the compliment.
looks like a long never ending track 🙂
It actually curves to the left, just about where the photo ends. Thanks for the comment.
This perspective really evokes the length and curve of the track
Again I thank you and appreciate the comment. It was a little unnerving taking the shot. Hope you are doing better.
I make progress daily … but need to remember to not push too hard to recover. Thanks for asking!
